SPA MIST – A mist is applied to the scalp and hair throughout the Head Spa. The fine water molecules penetrate deep into the hair and pores to enhance the cleansing and treatment

Salon Iaomo has been a constant in my life for decades. Consistently is the standard. The waiting area is comfortable and tastefully decorated with complimentary hot popcorn and beverages. The work area is very clean and inviting. My stylist, Kathy, is very knowledgeable of the current styles, trends and techniques as well as understanding how to cut and style based on hair types, facial structure and accentuating one’s best features. Her conversation is interesting, intelligent, humorous and always friendly. She often makes keen observations and recommendations and I can honestly say over the years I’ve never been disappointed in a single cut or experience in the salon. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.

I have had three amazing haircuts in my life and one of them was done by Cathy at Salon IAOMO! I went in wanting a change and she delivered! Not only did she do an amazing job, but she was so nice and friendly! The prices are very reasonable, the location is right in my neighborhood and they have online booking so it’s super easy to find a time that works for you. I have been bumbling around salons for a while since moving to this area but I think I’ve found where my hair care belongs!

Maureen was outstanding, very good at what she does in her profession. I would recommend her and the staff at IAOMO. They are number one in hairdressing and all amenities that come with it.

I was referred to the salon after having a very bad hair color and cut ( unlike anything I've ever had in over 30 years) experience with a different salon. Jess not only fixed in one visit what I thought would take several appointments, she was professional, knowledgeable, friendly. The salon is a beautiful, very inviting, accommodating and the staff is so friendly. I can't wait to go back! I wish I knew about them sooner!

I had a consultation with Maureen to discuss hair pieces, wigs, and other options. She was so warm, friendly, informative, and helpful! Throughout the conversation we agreed that a new haircut and color could really help as a first step. Cathy came to the rescue and was amazingly able to fit me in that day! I have never really loved my hair (before or after a cut) but this time it was perfect! The cut was so flattering and the color (even though not as bold as we intended due to my stubborn grays) is beautiful! Cathy was able to nearly match my natural brunette hair color and added a wine color to the top. I really loved the environment there as well. Five stars all around! I will definitely be going back!

I had a very bad cut so this was my final and 3rd attempt to find someone to help me. Cathy is an expert at short haircuts and I couldn't have been in better hands. I also had a weird color/highlight situation which she toned down so that parts weren't orange. I'm so relieved and I feel like I can focus on more important things like getting to the dentist! Lol.
Unbelievable!! What a pack of liars! Maureen and Roberta. They refuse to take responsibility for what Maureen will not admit to.. guess the good fairy cut my $5,000 hair .. butchered it when she told me she would never cut someone’s replacement hair without their approval.. When I was looking for a salon who specialized in female pattern baldness for a relative, I found Salon Iaomo via the Internet, made an appt for my cousin. Cathy was my cousins' hair stylist. Cathy did a fantastic job, was very engaging, professional + when we left the salon you could not see the balding area on my cousin's head. We both loved the cut + Donna told Cathy she will be back.

Cathy always does an excellent job on cut and color. In my opinion all of their stylists are good. The shop is clean, spacious, and has a parking lot. I'm always offered water, coffee, popcorn. The staff is friendly.Ive been a steady customer since July of 2017.
When dealing with alopecia it can be an embarrassing situation. I wanted a salon that would treat whatever thinning hair I have left with gentleness. Meeting with Maureen for a consultation enabled me to learn that a topper may just help fit the bill when my scalp gets cold in normal cool weather.
She was very caring and understanding. We discussed the pros and cons of human hair vs synthetic and that they will also service human hair. She will also color and shape my existing hair.
The salon has 3 private rooms as well as a public area for customers. Free popcorn as well as canned drinks and coffee are available. They do notify by text of future appts. Any no shows are subject to a cancellation fee.
The salon offers many services and can be pricey however when paying for quality it is worth the investment.
Cards and cash are accepted. Checks are not.

I came to Salon Iaomo by referral. My stylist was Cathy. I have short curly hair. I’ve lived in Pittsburgh going on 3yrs and haven’t found one hair stylist that’s cut my curly hair right since I’ve left FL. Cathy broke that chain of bad luck. She redefined my layers!! Before we even got started she actually asked and listened to how I wanted my hair styled/cut. Something none of the others have done up here. Whenever I go to tell other stylists, they tell me no, and try to suggest I’m wrong and it won’t come out right. We all know our hair, being denied an extra inch when that’s the look I’m going for is rude.

I needed 1 extension put in my hair and I needed it quickly, because I was leaving town. I called and Roberta was able to get me an appointment in less than 2.5 hrs. She even gave me some extension advice! She is so nice and knowledgeable! I definitely recommend this Salon.

Hannah followed up promptly listen to my sob story. Asked me to send over some photos of my disaster and also the inspiration look I was going for. She was basically said we got this Cathy has an opening same day. I get to the salon, it's very welcoming space (they even have popcorn while you wait!) Cathy was great, she listened to me, had a print off of the picture I sent over. She was able to salvage the disaster. The atmosphere and the ladies that I've interacted with have been really nice. I think I've finally found my forever salon. 🥰

First off I have trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder) so going to a salon is often a nightmare situation for me. I experience patchy hair loss due to pulling and it is highly embarrassing especially if the stylist points it out loudly. So I have taken to googling to see what salons near me might be trichotillomania friendly. Then I call them to see how they reply when I ask if they are trich friendly. If they know what that is I tend to feel a bit better in going there. If they don’t have a clue I move down my list. I had contacted Salon Iaomo prior to the pandemic and was planning on making an appointment after speaking with a very friendly receptionist. But I delayed due to COVID. I needed to get my hair done before going to a wedding in late April. I wanted color, cut and style. I arrived and was immediately taken aback at how tranquil it was in there. The staff were friendly and kind and it put me at ease instantly. I felt free to discuss my pulling and what areas I was most concerned about. My stylist assessed my hair and we discussed what the options were. She suggested a trim and a coloring option and I went with her suggestions. The time passed quickly and when I was done I had even had my eyebrows waxed for the first time which if you pull hair is a blessing because when you pluck yourself it can often go horribly awry.

AMAZING! I did a hair mishap at home on my own (I’ve for sure learned my box hair dye lesson) and they got me in on the SAME DAY I called! I had an upcoming wedding weekend and they did amazing. Jessica was awesome!

I guess I wouldn't have stayed with Roberta, and moved with her to different locations, if I wasn't provided the best haircut, service and products available. I’ve had my hair done at Salon Iaomo (Jess is AMAZING) on multiple occasions. I get all over color and highlights every few months, and extensions (beautiful healthy hair) done a few times a year. Jess is incredibly skillful and is wonderfully adept at taking my hair from drab/sorry to bright, thick, long, shiny, and sleek. This salon runs on time and the staff are fantastic. I highly recommend Salon Iaomo, and Jess, specifically.
