"First off I have trichotillomania (hair pulling disorder) so going to a salon is often a nightmare situation for me. I experience patchy hair loss due to pulling and it is highly embarrassing especially if the stylist points it out loudly. [When] I arrived and was immediately taken aback at how tranquil it was in there. The staff were friendly and kind and it put me at ease instantly. I felt free to discuss my pulling and what areas I was most concerned about. My stylist assessed my hair and we discussed what the options were.
