Meet Our Amazing Staff

from Pittsburgh Beauty Academy (PBA) with my associate’s degree and was top student of my class.  I was an apprentice at a local salon for my manager’s license. I worked for a national Hair Replacement business and it changed my life.  I had an incredible mentor that was selfless in showing me everything he knew and encourage me to strive high.  After staying for 20 years, I left my position as director of styling where I traveled the world learning and helping people that were in need of hair enhancements, to open my own salon. The relationships I maintained over those 20 years with my clients propelled me to want to go on my own.  In 2008 Salon that’s when IAOMO was created.  It was a labor of love combining a conventional salon with an integrated hair replacement studio.  I wanted to give back what was selflessly given to me, to help stylist grow and create amazing careers.  In the beginning of 2020 I was honored to receive my Masters Certification in the Hair Replacement Industry by the American Hair Loss Council.  I am honored to be 1 of 30 people in the United States to work hard for this honor. I love what I do helping clients who are hair challenged.  I make 8 hairs look like 80.  I help build self-esteem and smiles thru their hair.  Nowadays, my love is to only work with hair replacement clients in need.

I work hard to keep up with current techniques and products that are part of the industry.  Continuing my education is something that is top of the list for me.  You can never stop learning new things.  I have been with Salon IAOMO from its start in 2008 and love interactions with my clients (they are an extended part of my family) and of course my co-worker family. I wouldn’t want to work anywhere else.  My certifications are updated yearly.  A few of my favorite things about doing hair is hair extensions, hair replacements seeing the dramatic transformations and the pure joy on a client’s face when we are done.   It’s a very uplifting and challenging industry to be a part of I am ready to help anytime.

family for the past 11. I enjoy chatting with my clients while doing the different services I offer including color, foils, bayalage, and hair. At a young age, I loved the hair industry and wanted to be  a part of it when I grew up. I started out cutting my sister and Barbie dolls hair as a little girl. I love having a relationship with my clients. I want to make my clients feel like they are friends not just someone I see every 4-12 weeks.  I went to Parkway West CTC when I was in high school and received my Cosmetology Degree. After, I continued my schooling at South Hills Beauty Academy where received my Teachers Degree in Cosmetology. I love to learn new things and think education is very important in this industry because new things and trends arrive every day.  I am certified in Brazilian Blowout, Hand Tied Extensions, Tape In Extensions,  and Bayalage.

Salon IAOMO Family.  I have been with Salon IAOMO for 10 years.  The thing I love most about being a Stylist is making my clients feel and look their best when they leave the salon.  I enjoy getting to know my clients personally.  As they are all extensions of the “salon family”.  I enjoy creating different colors and to give the clients a unique look. One thing that has never changed is my passion for the industry.  It is exciting being part of something that is ever changing.

I enjoy most about being a hair stylist include, being able to make people look and feel good about themselves.  Whether it is giving them a great hair cut or an amazing hair color transformation or changing their look all together. Once you been in the industry for some long you get to know you clients and understand them on a personal level.  I am able to create the best look for each and every client.  I specialize in razor cutting, Brazilian Blowouts, unique highlighting techniques such as Balayage, Ombre, and baby light.  I also specialize in traditional color and unique color.

requires 1,250 education hours plus other testing and hands on requirements. I have a 2 year old bearded dragon named Smalls that I have raised from a baby. I love to ride motorcycles with my dad. I just took my first trip to the Outer Banks in North Carolina and loved it.I love seeing the transformations on client’s faces when they come into Salon Iaomo and leave. It just makes my day.

I’m all things customer service and look forward to helping you. I enjoy meeting new people and look forward to building new relationships with all of the clients at Salon Iaomo. When I am not at work, you will probably find me in my garden. I also enjoy traveling with my family. Hawaii has been my favorite place so far!
